Inbox
Unread Messages Number Increases But There Are No Messages
- System: Canvas
- Problem: In Conversations (Inbox), the number of unread messages increases even though there are no messages to be read.
- Workaround: Please contact the UF Computing Help Desk at 352-392-4357 and request that your Canvas inbox counter be reset. Please note, this is a temporary fix as the counter may again increase.
- Status: Under investigation by Canvas engineers.

Grades
Upload Scores Hangs In Large Courses
- System: Canvas
- Problem: In Grades, when utilizing 'Upload Scores' within large courses, after confirming your changes with 'Save Changes', the browser spins and then the page goes blank. This appears to be the case in all popular browsers.
- Workaround: Manually remove "gradebook_upload" from the URL to enter back into the course. Note: Uploaded grades will continue to populate in a matter of minutes but you must refresh the page to see this occurring.
- Status: Under investigation.
