Using the Syllabus tool, you may post a syllabus in the form of a file attachment, or you may create an HTML version of your syllabus that does not require students to open or save a file. The HTML version provides a "printable view" if students need to print the syllabus.
To add a Syllabus as an attachment:
- Click Syllabus in the left menu bar
- Click Create/Edit at the top of the page
- "Title:" - Insert a title for this syllabus
- Click Add attachments
- If the file is in your Resources, locate the file and click Attach a copy
- Or click Choose file, locate the file on your computer and double-click it, click Continue
- Click Post
To add an HTML Syllabus:
- Click Syllabus in the left menu bar
- Click Create/Edit at the top of the page
- "Title:" - Insert a title for this syllabus
- In the Content Editor, type in the text of your syllabus, using the formatting options. OR use the "Paste from Word" option allows you to cut the content from a Word document and paste it into the Content Editor to quickly create HTML.
