GivePulse
Overview
GivePulse is a seamless Canvas integration currently used by the UF Gators for Good Network for managing service or community-based learning courses. It supports ease of use for students and faculty in tracking volunteer and service hours as well as other experiential learning data.
GivePulse provides tools for event coordination, volunteer tracking, impact reporting including analytics dashboards, communication tools that enable direct messaging and group announcements, and an explore page which connects volunteers with causes and organizations nearby.
Administrators should provide structured training sessions or guides to help students and faculty navigate dashboards, log impacts, and manage registrations. Instructors should also design courses and events with clear expectations for service hours, registration processes, and impact verification. This includes customizing transcripts and ensuring students understand how their logged hours connect to academic credit.
GivePulse claims to meet industry standards regarding LTI accessibility and WCAG 2.1 international standards.
